The School Governing Body of GlenBridge Special School is inviting applications for the abovementioned post. The successful candidate must meet the following criteria: –
NQF 4 qualification (matric) or higher qualifications,
➤ Administrative Experience – Prior experience in an office environment, preferably in a school setting, is advantageous Secretarial Skills – Ability to draft letters, take minutes, and manage schedules efficiently, answer phone calls, take messages efficiently & operate the school intercom system
➤ Computer Literacy – Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email management.
➤ Basic Financial Understanding – Handling petty cash, receipting & reconciling of all school funds, and keeping basic financial records.
➤ Strong Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication in English (additional languages are an advantage).
➤ Front-of-House Skills – Professional, friendly, and able to interact with parents, learners, staff, and visitors in a welcoming manner.
➤ Organizational & Filing Skills – Ability to maintain well-structured records, both digital and physical.
➤ Time Management & Multitasking – Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
➤ Discretion & Confidentiality – Handling sensitive school and learner information with professionalism and integrity,
➤ Team Player – Willing to support management and staff with various administrative duties and actively participate in extra and co-curricular programmes;
The successful candidate will be employed in a contract position, with a monthly salary of R5,000.
