Duties and Responsibilities

As a YES Learner Merchandiser, participants will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring Clover’s products are presented effectively and efficiently in retail outlets. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Stock Control and Organization:
    • Implementing proper stock control measures both in-store and in back-up areas.
    • Writing up and minimizing returns as per the store work plan.
    • Avoiding stock shortages and reporting issues promptly to the Area Manager (AM).
    • Placing accurate and timely orders in line with the store’s ordering tempo.
  2. Shelf Management:
    • Ensuring shelves are well-stocked, clean, and neat at all times.
    • Following store flow instructions and basic merchandising rules.
    • Maintaining shelf sets according to provided plannograms and generic layouts.
    • Ensuring PI labels are up to date for every product.
  3. Product Presentation:
    • Maintaining and cleaning refrigeration units to ensure product appeal.
    • Displaying point-of-sale material in designated areas and keeping it updated.
  4. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintaining accurate records related to stock and shelf management.
    • Exploiting in-store opportunities to enhance the presence of Clover products.
  5. Relationship Building:
    • Fostering positive relationships with store management, customers, the Area Manager, and fellow merchandisers.
    • Acting as a representative of Clover’s values and maintaining professionalism at all times.
