Minimum Requirements

  • Sc./BEng/BTech (Mechanical/Electrical) Engineering
  • Government Certificate of Competency (MHS Act) (Mines and Works)
  • Code 08 driver’s license
  • 5 years’ experience in a 24-hour industrial environment
  • 5 years plant experience in a manufacturing process and / or heavy industrial environment
  • Excellent Managerial, Technical, Interpersonal and People – Development skills are required for this challenging position.
  • In depth understanding and knowledge of the relevant Legal Certificate of Competence (OHS and MHS)
  • In depth understanding and knowledge of the Cement and Manufacturing process would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The management of the maintenance function, to ensure professional care of assets (availability and reliability at design capacity) of Plant and Equipment at all times in a sustainable cost-effective way through a competent, motivated workforce
  • Ensure compliance to relevant legal requirement and ensure safe operation of plant and equipment
  • Optimal and safe asset performance within legal requirements and corporate standards
  • Optimal cost and capex planning, execution, and control
  • Ensure a culture and climate of continuous improvement that supports and develops a learning organization
  • Manage highly motivated Engineering department through continuous performance management and development
  • Good corporate culture principles focused, centred on people and continuous improvement
  • Efficient sustainable engineering management systems
  • Active plant management team player
  • Develop and facilitate key stakeholder relationships (Internal & External) that contribute to the strategic affairs of the business
  • Route cause analysis and problem solving
  • Continued improvement and enforcement of Engineering Standards
  • Knowledge of CMM Systems, preferably OnKey

The Clerk stores will be responsible for receiving of goods, comparing the goods received to purchase orders. Issuing of stock items to internal customers. Cycle counting of stock items and investigating variances. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics

  • At least 2 years in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of MS OFFICE compulsory.
  • Knowledge of SAP or equivalent warehouse system will be advantageous.

  • Timeous and correct updating of receipts/issues/cycle counts on SAP.
  • Processing of return orders, handling of and caring for goods in the store.
  • Standby Duties and work overtime as required
  • Assist with order expediting.
  • Housekeeping of Stores Area.
  • Binning and marking of items
  • Maintaining and adhering to the warehouse processes and instructions
  • Driving of forklift and cranes to bin heavy loads

To attend to equipment in any designated area in the Packaging & Logistics plant, as well as competently drive a forklift

Minimum Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Operator Support experience
