Description
We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Social Auxiliary Worker or Social Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside district-level social workers to provide administrative and coordination support, primarily focused on enabling the formal registration of Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres.
Requirements
- NQF Level 5 qualification in Social Auxiliary Work
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) valid registration number
- Clear criminal record (self-declaration required)
Child Protection Compliance:
- Must be cleared against Part B of the National Child Protection Register
- Written consent is required from all applicants
Deployment Readiness:
- Available for full-time district-level deployment
- Able to travel locally to centres, including rural areas
- Comfortable working under supervision

- Basic data literacy
- Desirable Experience:
- Work/volunteer exposure in ECD/Children, Department of Education and Social Development and NGOs
